The Sawmills Timberkings made their debut in May 2025, bringing big-league energy and small-town magic to Veteran’s Park. Based in Sawmills, North Carolina, the team was founded on a shared love for baseball, community and family - values that run deep through every inning they play.

Owned and operated by the Emery Family, Brendan and Leslie take pride in having the Timberkings represent more than just baseball. They envisioned a program that would create a place where fans, families and future athletes could gather to spend time together and celebrate America’s favorite pastime. It has been built on heart, family and passion while being all about community, competition and good old-fashioned baseball. From special events, fan in-game entertainment and community outings, the Timberkings deliver a family-fun environment for all ages.
